Chamber Music on the Mountain Summer Festival

July 17-29, 2023
”Past, Present & Future”

Come enjoy chamber music throughout Northwest Arkansas at this 3rd annual event. CMM is celebrating Mount Sequoyah Center’s 100th year of programming with chamber music featuring Arkansas composers, music influenced by folk traditions, and music from the 1920s. We are commemorating this special year with commissioned work which will be premiered during the final concert on Saturday July 29th. There’s more community engagement events and more partners to share the fun. Please join us for the festivities and music!

Mount Sequoyah Center was established in 1922 as a summer retreat center for the Methodist church. In 2016, Mount Sequoyah Center Inc. became an independent, educational non-profit organization. We have developed a multidisciplinary program called Creative Spaces NWA, which offers subsidized studio spaces, exhibitions, performances, and music programming.

Our 32-acre campus is a serene space where the community and artists come together. The buildings dedicated to local artists for studio space provide a unique atmosphere for artists, writers, musicians, and performers in which to create and share.

Chamber Music

The most intimate form of music making where each musician devotes themselves into creating moments together.
Small ensemble. One to a part. No conductor.
Every note, every silence. Uniquely ours.
